We are part of the world-wide, Bible-based community of Christadelphians. Located on the corner of College Road and Springfield Road, we have a thriving membership of around 90 adults, alongside our active youth groups and Sunday School.
On Sunday evenings, we hold Bible Talks, during which we present the good news - God's message contained in the Bible which tells us of His exciting and amazing plan and purpose.
Tuesday evenings, we hold more in depth Bible study at the Bible Class. On Fridays, many young people come along to the youth activities, and on Sunday, we hold a Sunday School.
Christadelphians have been meeting in Hall Green since the 3rd of April 1938. We have been in our present hall from the 2nd of July 1966.
The word Christadelphian is taken from the Greek and means brethren in Christ. The use of a Greek word reflects our aim of trying to understand the true meaning of the Bible message and to live by the teachings of the first century believers. The Bible was written in Greek and Hebrew and the teachings of the first century believers are based on the Bible.
In January 2005, the UK national newspapers only mentioned the Christadelphians, amongst all the Christian denominations, as being Bible based. This is a significant distinction as we seek to keep as true as possible to the unchanging message which God has recorded in the Bible. Whilst the Churches allow their teachings to evolve as times and customs change, the Christadelphians remain firmly committed to the original message.
